In a public university lecture on the topic “Hydrogeodesy in the Age of Uncertainty: A Bayesian Approach to Observing the Water Cycle from Space” and a subsequent non-public colloquium, Dr.-Ing. Mohammad J. Tourian completed his habilitation at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. He is granted the venia legendi in the field of Satellite Geodesy.
